Mission Statement:
The mission of the Curyung Tribal Council is to serve tribal members, to preserve our cultural values, to protect our sovereign and inherent rights, to promote our social, economic, and political progress.
Objectives:
- Encourage strong leadership and build upon our collective wisdom.
- Promote pride in our heritage and tradition.
- Preserve our subsistence, customs, folklore and art.
- Promote our physical, economic and social well-being.
- Discourage and overcome racial prejudice and the inequities that such prejudice creates.
- Promote strong government by reminding those who govern and those governed of their joint and mutual responsibilities.
