Kim started work at the Curyung Tribal Council on March 27, 2024. She comes to the Council as a long time elected tribal leader having served over 20 years on the Council. She was first elected to the Council in 1986 and has served off and on over the years. Kim holds a Bachelor in Biological Sciences from the University of Alaska Fairbanks and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Alaska Anchorage. Kim has over 29 years of administrative experience, which include, supervising employees, setting the course to carry out the strategic direction of a board of directors, facility and grant management.
